I started drawing around February-2013 after watching a portrait tutorial video on YouTube. Somewhere in the middle a had a year off, almost fearing to draw for some reason. That's no longer the case and I have more free time now than ever (too much so :-) so, no more excuses.!

If you are like me then you may have a tendancy to leave projects (not just art ones) unfunished. Looking around me a can see several examples - the home-made leather mp3 player wallet I've yet to stitch together, finishing touches to several software projects or that music I can't write an ending for. So yesterday I took out one of the infinished drawings from my folder - a duck (northern shoveler) which I started over a year ago but only got half way through because the rest involved drawing water and a reflection (scary). Anyway, one more session on it tomorrow and I think I'll have something I'm happy with. Then the day after that I can
